Nobody that hadn't been playing it for ages would be likely to. I know VOILA cropped up again today in one puzzle and that's French.

I think it's one puzzle setter that likes to leave the melon / lemon dilemma and I don't think that one always goes the same way so it's just a toss up.

I took a lucky guess on one of the others rather than chasing one particular one down a first letter guess rabbit hole. I missed that I'd revealed a crucial letter in another and guessed the wrong start. Probably I'd become impatient and was just rushing - I often do when they are like that
