Police officer sacked

The Police are a strange lot these days. Not anything like the policemen of my youth.

Indeed.  They seem to concentrate on 'hurty words' rather than murder!

On the other hand,  none of us were there to witness what was being said or threatened.

Do you remember some time back when the American cops got rather over-zealous and were filmed kneeling on that black mans neck  - George Floyd -  for 9 minutes, and killed him?
I wonder how much of that was 'good policing'  and how much was bad handling of the situation?

If we are not careful this could easily turn into a George Floyd and Derek Chauvin event..
Much of the USA took the side of Floyd even though he was a ruthless individual and cared nothing of the lives of others.. 
He became a hero and much money was collected to support his (family)..
The public got so carried away that it became a 'No,no' to mention anything against a black person..
It spread to other countries... All of a sudden the black races turned on the white man.. And they won..
Adverts.. Variety shows.. Films.. changed overnight.. Statues were taken down.. and on and on it still goes.. And we know who the winners are.. !!!

If we allow Lome Castle , the police officer who was a bit (heavy handed) with a teenage knife carrying kid, to not be re-instated... the plot is lost..
Teenagers will rule.. No-one being allowed to put their hands upon them..
They will become overnight hero's...
George Floyd all over again..

It think this could be on a loser whichever way it ends up, Scrumps.

If the Cop was re-instated,  there will no doubt be  big trouble from other teens,
and if he is NOT re-instated there will still be trouble from other teens for the treatment dished out.
