I'm no cardiologist, but 97 or 93 is still a bit high.  I'm sure they'll explain to you, though.  Good luck Rave!

Thanks, the numbers keep changing every few seconds but when I was admitted here 3 days ago the top one was 148, it's dropped a lot and I certainly feel a lot better, not like I'm going to pass out any second.

So pleased it has stabilised today, Raven.

Keep your chin up gal,  you will be fine.  x

Glad you are feeling better Raven 🙂

Positive stuff!  Hope you're managing to get some rest, hospitals can be noisy places.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Morning, Was shifted out of my room last evening, now in a 6 bed ward. Beds a lot more comfortable but oh god there's no peace n quiet. That bloody telly is never off and there's a loud mouth yap in another bed who has to be the centre of attention.
My HR is doing fine but they say I have not enough oxygen in my system, so having to wear tubing up my nose. Also wearing a portable screen thing now, looks like an iPhone but does all the big monitors did.
I was given a sleeping pill last night and I'm very zombified at the moment, waiting on Breakfast, needing my toast n coffee.

WELL  :worried: There's no more needles going in there.

That sounds like welcome progress, Rave.
My suggestion: ear plugs!  They work for me when Marge snores.

I can well understand and sympathise with you about the noise, Raven.   It would be even more noticeable for you with coming from such a peaceful coastal area.
Is it near enough for your Dunc to pop in to keep you company, or are you miles away?

At the moment he can come as I'm 20 miles away. I fully expected it to be Raigmore down in Inverness, if it had been then I'd not see much of him as it's 110 miles each way. When I go to Dundee or Edinburgh he'll stay at my place in Perth.

I am glad he can get in to visit you,  that must be some comfort at least.

I'm glad you mentioned that Scrumpy,  because still keep looking and am still not sure.  :hmm:

Sorry, it was hard to take that photo one handed. It's the big bruise on the back of my left hand.

I'm home for a few days as my HR is down thanks to the medication I'm now on. But it's very easy to send it up again, I'm sacred to do anything incase it rockets. Have to be in Dundee and Ninewells for the CT Scan next Wednesday so we are heading to my house in Perth over the WE.
I've never felt so ill or scared in my life.

Alex

Glad your heart rate is down Raven, keep taking the meds and you'll be ok  :upvote: Easily said I know, but try not to worry as being anxious won't help.  Good luck for Wednesday.
