Another peculiar happening.

There is a huge fire in N.W. London, said to be spreading smoke and fumes all over the capital.

It is an electrical Sub-Station on fire,  and 100 firemen were called to deal with it.
The articel I read said the firemen said a Transformer is alight.
It looks dangerously close to housing in the video.

That's a mess. As far as I know the fire spread to a block of flats adjacent to the substation.

I wouldn't be surprised Ashy,  it looks all too close to surrounding properties on the video, doesn't it.

There was a fire in the substation supplying my house a few years back. It caused some transformers in manholes under the path to blow. The team that came to fix one across the road from me managed to put about a quarter mile of road out by chopping through something they shouldn't have.
