I have never been that keen on hot cross buns,  don't like dried fruit all that much.
I certainly wouldn't want to have to buy a pack of 4, just for me.
I might have one sometime over Easter,  but not much bothered either way.

Alex,  I must say I am a bit surprised to see M & S at No.7 too.

I buy them all the time, quite often have a banana and a toasted hcb for a quick breakfast
Have copied and pasted that list to several others!

I don't take much notice of lists ...
We all have different tastes .. The dearest isn't always the best..

Co-op Smoked salmon is my favourite.. M&S.. Waitrose.. I am not keen on..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Trying to lose excess weight and hot cross buns sadly do not mix well.

I don't want to lose any more, but want to keep my new sveltness 😉

If I lose too much, I'll look haggard, that's the trouble with being old. 🥴
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Not a fan of hot cross buns, something in the taste I don't like.  :boo:

A year gone by and here's the verdict for 2026 : This year's clear winner was Iceland's Luxury Hot Cross Buns, £1.80 for 4  (you can freeze them separately.)  Second was Asda Exceptional Extra Fruity Hot Cross Buns
£1.77 for 4.   Third was Tesco Finest Extra Fruity Hot Cross Buns,
Last year's winner Waitrose Richly Fruited bun came 4th.

This is beginning to sound like the Eurovision Song Contest, so I'll leave it at 4
