I think we should understand that the American "Democrats", (they deal with the difficult bit in the name) are stark raving mad selfish crooks (the Americans call them "grifters"). And everything they do is explained by that.

Why they think it's ok for men to pretend to be women, and even think the rest of us should go along with it, is more of a mystery. We'd have to understand how they're making money out of it. Maybe it's the drugs those people take. 

The fact that the new president's audit of USAID has turned up some very well financed schemes that can only be described as nonsense, suggests that the 'crook' part is dominant.

Trump did make the ludicrous public error of  announcing that money spent on transgenic mice was something to do with changing boy mice into girl mice.

The only real choice the Americans had at their last presidential election was between a chortling buffoon and an orange one with a ludicrous hair style. Surely they could have done better.

With this I agree.  It is, and always has been, possible (and acceptable or humorous to some) for men to pretend to be women and vice versa.  Dressing up as the opposite sex is almost always less than convincing, and quite often quite humorous (going by a prime example working in a shop in our nearby town).

However, changing sex is not entirely possible.  Yes, 'naughty bits' can be surgically removed, and additional openings surgically created, but XX and XY chromosomes cannot be exchanged even with a complete change of blood, because every part of the body contains such chromosomes.  The only way to change sex is to change the entire body, never mind the clothes.

Did anyone see in yesterday's paper about a trans man and a gay man having a baby?

The 'mother'  was a woman,  but she had her boobs cut off ()  and started taking male hormones.  She then grew chest hair and also a beard.

She then met and fell in love with a gay man, and moved in with him.   They soon decided they wanted a baby,  so she stopped taking the  male hormones.
 
Over the next few months  her periods re-started and then she became pregnant quite quickly.
The baby was born by caesarian, and they will let the baby be whatever sex it chooses to be.
 Now want more children.
They have decided the baby will call the 'mother'  Daddy and his partner Dadda.

There was a picture of them and I'm sorry, but I can't get my head round a big fella with a beard, lifting his T.shirt up and showing off his huge pregnant belly.

Do these people only think of themselves?  Does it enter their head of what that child will have to cope with at school later?

When my son was 6 yrs old,  me and his Dad broke up,  although we always stayed friends  until he sadly died with prostate cancer about 5 years ago.
The reason I am telling you about my lad is because when he was still in infants school,  he came home crying his eyes out one day,  and told me some kids at school kept laughing at him and telling him he hadn't got a Daddy -  even though we saw him regularly.

I thought it best to go to the school myself, and have a word with the Headmistress to explain our home life and tell her how my boy was being tormented.     They dealt with it, and everything was fine from then on.

So what will that baby from the other couple go through when he starts school?  I don't doubt for a moment that he will be asked about his Mummy and ridiculed,  and these little ones are too young to cope with the aggro, and being made to feel an outsider.  He probably won't even understand himself why he has no Mummy like all the other kids
Whatever his parents wanted was their decision,  but involving a kiddie and expecting him/her to understand an adult world is a different matter.

Unfortunately, science and medicine has progressed today, and in my opinion far too far.
Perhaps it's only me, but I would definitely go out of my way to avoid people like that.

"Transgenic" for those who have not met this term before, is probably more frightening than changing sex. It is the frankenscience of implanting the genes of one species into another, typically to create an animal which reacts to drugs, poisons, etc in the same manner as a human being. Like the smoking beagles, or the sandflies, only on steroids.

I can't help but wonder why such people think it's perfectly OK to bring up children.  Surely they must realise it's not really in the natural course of things🤷🏻�♂️

Perfectly suitable families go through enormous scrutiny to adopt, grandparents, aunts and uncles as well as prospective parents. We have an adopted child in the wider family. The process involved DB checks and visits from social services.  Anyone hoping to adopt has to have suitable housing and the ability to financially support the child. 

And yet, anyone who can conceive can have a child regardless of their suitability to parent.
