Well I did cook it in the end,  and I tested the temperature to make sure the inside of the joint was cooking hot enough to destroy any bacteria  (I hope).
Apparently it needs to be over a certain temperature to kill E.Coli and Salmonella, so lets hope its alright.
It smells delicious.

I cooled it, and it is in the fridge now, and I shall carve it up into portions in the morning and pop them into the freezer.

If I have done this all wrong,  I will let you all know and perhaps someone could bring me some pain killers a lorry load of toilet rolls sharpish.

Thanks again folks.  x

On the assumption that you haven't vomited yet, I'm sure a barrow-load of bog rolls will come in handy later today.

This is where having installed a bidet douche spray to my toilets would prove to be useful.

You should invite Mups around.  Go on, she's a friend in need.

I would do, but I fear there aren't enough service stations between her house and mine.  She'll need plenty of those en route.

I'm getting down my covid stocks of those - only 5ΒΌ layers of 24 packs left in the loft now. I might have to get it insulated.

I think, if I look very closely, I can see her in the back of that lorry.
She's certainly having a good clear-out.  Makes you wonder where it's all coming from.
Come to think of it, she hasn't been on here since early this morning.
