I know the 'Farmer's Wellie'  further down the road is empty,  has been for about the last two years.
I heard the landlord went broke when his missus divorced him for knocking off three barmaids, and helping himself out the till.

Oh, hold on a mo,  mucky maureen's just called in.  She said the Nostril is still there,  it is  just boarded up. 
You couldn't use the car park easily though,  not until someone came and cleared all the weeds,  which are about 4 ft high!
All the bins blew down to the next village in those gales too.  Oh -  and two windows are broken and the pub sign has blown away.

Other than that,  everything's fine.

I forget quite why but the Jockey's was moved to Controversial. The door is hanging off its hinges but nothing Scrumpy couldn't fix as she is expert on such DIY feats as shed building and sign painting. If anything needs screwing up I'm sure she is up to the task. The address should it have been forgotten after imbibing the home made hooch produced in the cellar
