Kindergarten Children Attacked in Germany

The playschool group was visiting a local park in Ashaffenburg when a two year old was killed and another seriously injured by an Afghan migrant.   A male passer by who tried to protect the kids was also murdered.

This is the latest in a string of knife attacks, but the Germans are so fond of quoting  "mental health issues" as a motive.  It will be interesting to see how the AfD does in next month's General Election , as there has to be a time when enough really is enough.

There is so much knife crime now,  and it is getting worse by the day.

One problem is,  these crimes seem to be often committed by youngsters.  I saw one on the news tonight where the offender was only 14.

That one who killed the three little girls in Southport,   was only 17 at the time,  so  they said he couldn't be given a full life sentence!   That must be of great comfort to the girls parents!

Surely this could be seen almost as 'incentive'   thifose with the inclination and a sick enough mind know they won't be punished for long?

As these people have mental health issues that means they have some kind of curious justification for their actions, then surely they have exactly the same justification for receiving that which they have dished out?

On the AfD point it's going to be a struggle for them I fear. They get the far right tag and with PR they need to be more than just the highest rated party. To achieve government with PR they will almost certainly need to form a coalition and the other parties seem to despise them - maybe because they don't want to see upstarts winning or maybe they are afraid they might actually start giving the electorate what they voted for which is a dangerous precedent.

No resistance? Easy target? Who knows.  Tragic for those families.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

If a dog had bitten these children it would be euthanised.
These mad murderers need to be too.

He will be sentenced today .
Probably will be held at His Majesty's Pleasure and stashed away in Broadmoor at vast public expense for the next 60 years

Very true.  The dogs aren't given a chance to do it again, are they.

And as I said earlier,  if these killers are young,  they will only get a few years away.
I keep saying it,  but I firmly believe a lot of crime is committed because there is no sufficient deterrent.

All the fault of the mamby pamby do gooders, and their no disciplining children. They grow up believing they can do what they want.
They don't seem to know right from wrong.

I'm not entirely sure that a complete loon will ever know the difference between right and wrong.

Yes, and also inept parents.  In fact, they in turn were probably allowed to misbehave when children.

I have always maintained that punishments are far too soft in this country, as evidenced by the various sentences handed down for various crimes, even murder.  For the latter, if proven beyond any doubt, I maintain that hanging should be the inevitable sentence.

I'd like to see this thing sent to prison for life - meaning his entire life.  Hopefully then he will suffer continued beatings by other prisoners, most of who will likely give him what he deserves.

I think he's likely to be detained for the forseeable in somewhere like Broadmoor.

And we dare not say a word against  migrants who invade our shores for fear of being prosecuted..

I hope the actions of Trump will encourage the voters to look hard at who they vote for in future...
And will bring about much needed change.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

This thread actually started out about an attack in Germany and is now about the Southport murders.
