This morning I saw on the telly, yet another rocket of some sort being launched into space.

It must cost countries billions to keep doing this, and honestly, what is the point?
What's it for? What are they hoping to achieve?
Is it boys with their toys, or a competitive thing, or is their a beneficial purpose behind it?

I am quite sure if I had even half that amount of money to spare, I wouldn't be spending it on flying around space.

So, serious question - What's all about, does anyone know?
If there is life out there, so what? It's not doing us any harm, leave 'em alone, or we might regret it..
