A few days back Evri delivered a parcel. I thought it was a bit bigger than I expected. When I looked at the name it wasn't mine and the whole thing looked very odd (you'll see below). I tried search and came up with a matches - a twitter id and a Marketing Manager for a company in Milton Keynes which is nearby and a few other things from which I could see she lived in Towcester. I used the work email and sent a tweet but no replies.

The label on the package was Hermes and overlaid a DHL one. Knowing how adept Evri are at screwing things up I opened it to see it there was a packing slip with a better address. It was exactly the same. I've redacted it a bit for privacy...

Exactly the same. I knew it was a hoodie as it said so on the packaging so took a look. I thought it would probably fit my daughter. I also thought it was hideous. I sent her some pics and asked what she thought as I'd hang on to it a bit longer to make sure there were no replies then either give it to her or put it in the charity bin over the road. She said she'd try Facebook.

She got a reply in no time and passed my phone and address over and the owner picked it up last night. She gave me a gift tin of Roses and wouldn't take no for an answer so I'll give them to my daughter as I'm still on my weight loss regime and if I opened them I'd have no self control and scoff far too many.

Not sure what happened to my email and tweet - spam folder and just not seen probably.

This was the hoodie. Thick and good quality but that back - not to my taste.
