It's difficult at times when someone is hell bent on not accepting that they might be wrong.

Upon re-reading, I can see that there were possibly two ways of reading my post and at what it was aimed (which was never Granny (why would it be?🤷🏻♂️) but was the thread subject).  Someone has chosen to read it in the way it was not intended and refuses to accept their error.

Ho hum.

Anyway, it's Sunday, the day of rest and my cat still hasn't turned up. 🥹

Since Friday late morning....

But, he turned up next door.  So we've brought him back home .  Sadly he's still in considerable pain so we're going to have to keep him indoors and allow the older cat out under supervision.  Until we can get him to a vet and see what's what.

No idea what to do about toilet for him as he's an outdoor cat and we don't keep a litter tray nor anything like it.  Guess we'll just have to deal with, er, "it" as and when.

Leave newspaper by the catflap or door or wherever he normally goes out.

Hope the vet gets it sorted and your wallet avoids open heart surgery. :V:

Ta Rox.  First task of the day is to nip to Asda as soon as it opens and get cat litter stuff.

I think that it would be a good idea to have a dedicated board for pets and animals generally .

Hope he's ok.  I miss our old moggy, but won't have another.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

To return to the vagaries of our policing .

The Met police have chosen not to ban the disgraceful pro Palestinian March tomorrow on the anniversary of the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust

Yet

Have imposed a section 34 dispersal order on Gosport

I'm glad he's back, Dex.  I can certainly appreciate how you must have felt, as we would have felt exactly the same if either of our cats had disappeared.  Fortunately, although they are free to wander, they can't get to the front where there is a busy road, though they can go into neighbouring gardens.  In practice, I'm happy to say, they usually remain in our garden.
No, though when they were small we did keep a litter tray, but they have since learnt good manners and have found a lovely spot in our garden.  We don't go there.

Thanks JB.  I have created a dedicated thread.  Perhaps the boss can merge/shift any related posts to it, at his leisure.
