Yesterday my son gave me a black ' thing' which is sitting on top of the dashboard, its supposed to stop condensation in the car.

Looks interesting. I never knew silica gel could be dried out. I always assumed there was some sort of irreversible reaction.

I don't know how it works Klondy, but I had to move it before I could drive home as I couldn't see over the top  :grin: it's now sitting opposite the passenger seat, so I'll see if it works later today.

I always reverse into my driveway as its a darn site safer than reversing out on the nasty bend outside.
You can't see what's coming until its nearly on top of you.


By the way,  what age is considered an 'old' car nowadays?
MIne is a 2014 reg.
