I do think it goes beyond "female". Never ime has a quick chat up and snog in a pub resulted in an invitation to move in. Of course that may just be me and it does happen all the time.

In fairness, there are well indicated time lapses of several months between the events.

Unless I remember it wrong she took him back after the first meeting, booted him out when he kicked the tea over then thought better of it and wrote him a rather odd letter asking if he wanted to try again. He opened it, read it got invited back and then asked to stay during that visit. There may have been a six months later notice between the second invite back and the invite to stay but if so I missed it or simply didn't remember.

Just finished it. Worth watching imo.

She seemed a bit of a fruit in the first two episodes and one I couln't understand.
In the final two I could completely understand her and sympathise given what she had been through.
