I quite like the Borat line, saying that he's happy since whoever wins will mean there'll be a person of colour as President.😬😬

Personal appearance shouldn't matter much but it certainly does. Sunak grinned far too much and as for that Kamala Harris... Jees.

I have yet to hear that woman say anything sensible .
She seems to have trouble stringing words together .

Surely in the whole of America they could rustle up a better pair of candidates ?

So were people put behind bars for telling the truth  ?   This murderer has been charged with terrorism for having Ricin and an al Qaeda manual, yet the police say that the murders of the little girls is not terror related   Eh ?

Well it fits in nicely with the Tommy Robinson thread as it shows what I posted in it, in a glaring spotlight, how duplicitous & corrupt our judicial system can be when the need arises & this is just another example.

The Establishment is trying, with no success I hope, to trivialise the three murders in the eyes of the public in order to keep a lid on them & to make the ensuing social media posts look unwarranted.

I won't be at all surprised if a mental health element is attempted to be shoehorned into the case to lower his culpability even further.

Are you sure that this isn't a case of being cautious with what they charge him with so as to avoid the chance of his escaping justice?  If they can't identify motive of this atrocious act, then they can't specify it as "terrorism".

It's certainly terroist modus operandi they  always attack girls and women .

I don't doubt it Muddy.  But courts need proof if they are to convict.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, he's already been charged with three murders for which he'll be tried.

I'm referring to the apparent avoidance of these murders being "terror" related.

The trial is to determine whether or not he murdered the three young girls, not why.

His reason for doing so would affect his sentence.

He's on trial for three murders & I can't see any relevance in what they're called.

Tommy Robinson was arrested on a terrorism charge for not handing over the PIN to his phone.

Think we're talking at cross purposes Di.  I was replying with Alex's post #17 in mind.

My initial reply tonight also stemmed from Alex's #17 post.

If you were wondering whether calling it a terrorist offence could cause his murder trial to collapse I don't see how it could as he's still committed three murders & has to be tried for them.

One cannot but wonder why the police (and presumably the CPS) are reluctant to refer to it as such then 🤷🏻♂️

I'm beginning to think the change of clocks did screw with my head after all.
