Mups

Please can anyone help me with how to send photographs  stored on my laptop,  by email,  using One Drive?

This laptop is W.11  and I am not finding it as easy as my old W.7.   In fact it's doing my head in!

Thank you.

Mups

I find the photo I want to send,  then click 'Share',  but then what if I can't find the email address of the other person?  How do I access my Contacts list without losing the page I'm on?
Any ideas please?

Ta muchly.

Alex

I don't use One Drive if I want to send a photo I type my email and attach the photo.  What's App is the method I use most these days.

Agree with Alex.

Alternatively, share it via an email to yourself, then forward it from there, once you have found the intended recipient, naturally changing a few bits n bobs so it doesn't appear as a forwarded email.

I tend to share from google photos. I don't use One Drive at all. I think it requires you to be using a Microsoft account which I won't do - local accounts only for me.

Maybe look up the email first and copy it into the clipboard if it isn't amongst those likely to be suggested by Share and there is no search contact option in One Drive.

Thanks very much Alex and Klondike.

I can see I am going to have to rethink this silly OneDrive thing.

That's me told then☹️

You can use the inbuilt emoji / emoticon keyboard on your phone, laptop, or recent versions of Windows.

I've never seen that before.   We live and learn.  Perhaps I will find a nice 'Hugs'  one.

Meantime,  I will have another look tomorrow when I'm not so worn out.

Thanks also for the
