I have lost count of the number of times I have thought the same.

My vet has a large cat which stands at the glass doors at the entrance .
Talk about cat scan .
It brookes no nonsense from dogs
One glare  quells the most aggressive canine .
Its not afraid of people either .
I first met him when he bite me on the leg as I was paying the bill.
( I think they have trained him to encourage quick payments )
He is appropriately named Tiger .

Nasty cat.. I hope you complained to the vet..
There is a spiteful cat that sits outside the Co-op.. He comes towards you to be petted.. As soon as you have petted him he attacks you.. Bloody thing..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

JBR

Thanks again for all the good wishes for Peanut.

Collected her this morning.  We now have two bottles of medicine and some pills to crush into her food.
We gave her each of the medicines into the mouth using small syringes which, of course, she didn't like.  The pills can wait for now.
No insulin injections for now, but going back on Thursday for both cats' booster injections.

When we got Peanut home, her basket was swimming in pee.  I suppose it could have been worse!

Better for her to be home and better for you too. I hated leaving poets with the vet.

Glad you have got her back home, JBR,  and I am sure  she feels happier now too.

Will she have to have regular blood tests now to check her glucose?

Oddly enough, my neighbour is a rescue cat person, and his current companion he has christened Inci. Told me the reason, which I have forgotten, but he felt her original name was inappropriate. It was Peanut! Again, can't remember why he felt it inappropriate
