How'd the trip to the Vet's go,  JBR?
Hope everything's alright.

They took Peanut in for observations.  They will telephone us at 10am tomorrow.  I hope she will be OK and that they can find out what is wrong with her.

Thanks for your interest, people.

My mistake.  We were asked to phone them at 2pm, if they haven't already contacted us.
The worry is that she might be diabetic and would need daily injections.  In addition to potentially hurting the cat, the cost of the insulin can be very expensive.  One advantage is that I already inject insulin as I am diabetic, so at least I should be quite good at it!
Here's hoping.

So what did the Vet say about Peanut today, JBR?

Yesterday evening, the vet telephoned Marge and said that he's doing more tests, but he has now found that her (the cat's) blood glucose level is high.  Sounds like she might be diabetic... like me!  At least, if she will require regular injections, I know what to do.

She's still staying in for more tests.  We can collect her tomorrow and receive all the information they now have.

I do appreciate all your kind words, people.
