 They aren't competing for jobs or housing with the vast numbers coming in.

Aren't many  politicians greedy for power ? 
There are those that become politicians for ideological reasons but they are  few and far between .
Others because they feel they can do better , make the country better and make things better for their citizens .
Farage ( and I am not a fan) has no reason to be in Politics 
He gets a lot of abuse but he does  what so many British  people want , he listens .
He listens to the complaints and problems they are facing .
He's not like some virtue signaling prat who wants us the accept mass immigration rape and murder and just shut up .
After all most of the country are just ignorant plebs
