yet another senior moment - but not me!

I spent 10 minutes looking in the only place a particular tool could be. Had I lent it? Pretty sure not. Ah - searched the only other place I could have put it. No. It was somewhere I always kept it before I put all the other similar tools in the one place so I wouldn't lose them but forgot to put that one with them.

I used it then put it back where I found it.
I need the exercise.

Not been a good day for me fridge wise  I was reaching for something and knocked out a tray of blueberries all over the floor.......that sounds like the beginning of a limerick

The other morning early.. I got up and made a cup of tea to take back to bed..
It was still dark.. but I didn't put the kitchen light on.. Enough light coming from the hall and outside light..
I too knocked over some blueberries that were sitting on the worktop.. 
I just said 'Bugger' and went back to bed.. 
When I got up.. I picked them up.. Did I wash 'em !!  Nah !!

I didn't bin mine.. 
I don't fuss about with all this 'pick it up quick' business.. 
I baked an apple crumble once.. guests on way .. opened the oven door pulled out the crumble.. It slid from my hands and landed upside down on the kitchen floor.. I looked at my mate who was 'Shocked'..  I quickly scooped it up and put it back in the dish.. Sorted.. We all ate it .. No-one died..

Ashy, my grandfather always said - let it in in the one ear and out of the other  ear (when you understand what I want to say) and my neighbour told me "they all will experience the same situation later".

I've just let in my wife's guest, a nice young lady. I said to her, "Do come in, my wife says you've been in hospital, are you better now?"
She said "I'm a doctor".

Found something I'd put away safely so I wouldn't lose it. Probably less than an hour.

Found my polarised glasses on about the third day of on and off hunting high and low because they weren't where I always keep them. They were about two inches from where I always keep them having slipped off the edge of the side table but got trapped and not made it to the floor which was the first place I checked.

One place I checked for the glasses was the car. I thought I may as well top up the washer fluid as I hadn't since I got it and it might be getting low. Took nearly 5 minutes to find the filler. Unlike every other car I've had it wasn't at the front. It was just under the windscreen with only a black cap against the black trim. I had almost given up and gone back to check the handbook.
