I learnt long ago that rationality cannot be defined by alternatives and I always felt Alistair shared the same pragmatism.

Frank was a Young Conservative, joined the Labour party because of Apartheid. He was always on the right, even quite friendly with Maggie Thatcher!

Thank you, I never knew he was a one time Tory. I like him very much a conviction Politician and very well 'sorted'. I understand that sadly he's very close to death at this time. A kind, getting scarcer all the while.
