Alex

It's been blowing a hoolie all day here, trees down in some parts.  I had to go out this morning though, I called to see my friend about 1 p.m.  and as I opened my car door the wind just took it away and I took a chunk of her fence panel

No Mc Donalds tonight, grandson and I did KFC for a change.

GrannyMac

I miss having a small grandchild who loved both those places.   Gave me a great excuse to eat things like popcorn chicken and McFlurries.  😂
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

At least there'll be a handy excuse for any power cuts.

Chilly, grey, and starting to rain again here.

I did a chicken casserole late last night and put it in my slow cooker to cook gently over night.
Smelled wonderful in my kitchen this morning,  and casserole looks good.
Ready to portion up and freeze some now.

I wish to withdraw my complaints over the summer about the heatwave, and have it return to us for a bit. !!!!

Alex

I haven't moved today, all plans cancelled.  I've got plenty to eat but I'm low on milk, maybe manyana will be better ☂

Don't forget your clocks tonight folks.
BACK  one hour.

You should use the little wheel at the back then you wouldn't bust the hands off.

Oh,  so that what's it for . .

I find it easier to tilt my clocks 30 degrees clockwise and use some gaffer tape to hold them in place.

My eyesight isn't good enough to see the numbers, so it works just fine.

That's cheating.

A couple of mine are quite fiddly to do.
The very old chiming one,  because you mustn't wind that one backwards.   I have to stop that one for an hour instead.

In the kitchen I've got a 'bird clock.'   One of those that sings a different bird every hour.
That's a tricky one to do too because it will do the wrong sounds otherwise.
I have to take the batteries out,  wind it on until ten mins to one,  then put the batteries back in then go through every hour letting it sound,  until I get to the right time again.

That's bonkers Mups, but entirely lovely 🙂🥰

I know you don't remember that. There's a sticker on the back and you've reminded me mine needs doing. Most are automatic but not that one and naturally it is probably the one I look at most.

Found a plus point from all the hassle with my internet which I still haven't got around to fully fixing = I've put on a couple of pounds over time from where I'd like to be. When I weighed myself just now I'm pretty much back to what I want to be. Clearly haven't had the time to stuff my face with junk food.

I did mine last night.. I don't do the one in the car and I can't do the one on the cooker..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That's why we have two cars and two cookers, each of which get used for 6 months at a time and put the other into storage.
