Same place Mups uses. Sounds a similar result.

Talking of hair, when ah were t'lad... and took the bus to school, I quite often had the same conductor.  He had curly Afro style hair, but he used to keep himself steady while he went round with his ticket machine with the bus in motion by pushing the top of his head up to the bus' ceiling.  The meant that although bushy and round in general, the top of his hair was entirely flat.  Over the years, it became increasingly tonsured.

Quote from: Alex on Yesterday at 01:44:36 PMMe too Mups, I just have highlights.  He's put the price up, for highlights and cut and blow its £79  !
Nothing on today, just mooching.

   Oooh,  you young saucebox!    Don't you put any clothes on when you are mooching?

My lovely hairdresser is also an old friend of mine.    I have been going to her,  for over 30 years.
She sold her salon years ago,  so works from  home now.
They live in a beautiful picturesque village not far from me,  and her clever hubby built her a sort of wooden chalet  in their garden, all decorated with electrics and water laid on,  for her own little hairdressers.
She is good to me, and never charges me full rate.
My hair is almost shoulder length,  and today I had it all re-layered, and hi-lighted, and she charged me £45.
Pretty good, ey.

I combed mine. Cost me bugger all. Enough comes out when I do to make any cutting unnecessary.

A brush and a shine for mine

Can one get and do you know anyone who uses those hair thinning combs, which is basically a comb with a razor blade in it.  Used to use one of those when I was a kid.

It seems you can still get them, Dex.

There are some on amazon, but I can't put the link up for some reason.
It keeps talking about some 'chatbot.'  ?

Good morning all.

Bright but chilly.  Only 5°  when I looked at my outside thermometer just now.

I admit I succumbed last night,  and put the heating on for a short while for the first time this winter.    This morning when I got up it had come on by itself.

Anyone else used theirs yet?

My hair is trimmed once a year, so is Dunc's, she comes to the house and only takes a fiver from each of us. She's a retired hairdresser and just does this as a favour. She also usually goes away with eggs, veggies, potatoes. Has a big latte and hunk of cake while she's here too.

Worth rechecking your Tupperware Vlad. I think there has been another ripple in the spacetime continuum for my errant tape measure has returned albeit to a different drawer.

My daughter is not working from home today, so I can do some noisy work sanding and vacuuming.  I can also wash the part of her bedroom carpet which my elder cat decided to have a number 2 on this morning, as the catflap was locked due to keeping the younger cat housebound.  The cat is now well enough to have loud machinery on in the background, on condition that the doors between him and them are firmly closed and he's had his medication/sedative by then.

Am also going to nip to a Chinese supermaket (with the unsettling name YH Lung, which is even more unsettlingly very close to the Manchester Royal Infirmary 😳) to get some bits n bobs to make a stir fry for tea.

Have a lovely day, each and all of you
