The boring thread.....

Lovely sunny day, sheets on the line this time.  I've got the last of the stuff from my old friend's house to take to the charity shop.

I had a bit of a worry today.  
I went to hospital appt.  to see the chap about my shoulder which is still playing up.

The are booking me in for a steroid injection,  but if that fails,  he said I would need an operation for a new shoulder!!      He also said I would need someone to stay with me for at least a fortnight afterwards as I wouldn't be able to do very much for myself.

What with the worry of that,  and that other bloke a few months back that wanted to operate on my lower spine,   I am at a loss to know what to do.   

If I was a dog, they'd probably put me to sleep!

Jeepers creepers Mups.  I'll let you know how quickly my cat recovers as it might be worth asking the vet to have a look at you.  Maybe their medications are better?  😬😬

Seriously though, I hope they can sort something less drastic!!

They did on our Yorkies several times. No use asking the vet if you can have one. Mine refused point blank.

One of the best things about getting older is that you can now say, " that's got F all to do with me" and you can crack on with your day...like deciding what height to have you recliner set to.

Reminds me so much of by BIL sadly now on guard duty outside the pearly gates. He was always "cracking on". Sergeant weapons instructor in one of the guards regiments. He was billeted with his wife in the Tower at one time and my wife either stayed or visited them there as a little girl. Always had a tale on any topic.

We had so much in common militarily wise, rank and job..Now at the final RV.

Sorry to hear about that Mups..but it's one task at a time..get tge steroid injection first and see what happens. No point worrying about about the future till you feel the results
