I noticed that one had slunk away. While (unsuccessfully) looking for it I did find the one that went into hiding earlier and lead to me buying the two new ones. It was with another which I only vaguely remember that went AWOL ages ago but I never noticed at the time. Neither were there when I looked before. They are toying with me.
😂😂😉 Bloody brilliant! So many have you got now...?

Not sure. I'd have to take hourly audits to be certain. Enough to be able to find one eventually if I need it. I can always buy more as they are cheap but I'm terrified that they might all come back together and the floor boards could give way.

I started on the audit and have found the one from the two I bought is sneaking back. A careful look to the right of the yellow one (this was the one that vanished for ages which I brought downstairs and put it the draw devoid of a tape measure) and it can just be seen tunnelling up from the netherworld and having reached just as far as below the scissors.

Either that - or you're losing the plot.

Good morning all.  Not very warm, is it.

I luv Sundays,  always have done.
Have a good one.

Warm here now. Plenty warm enough for frightening any local wildlife with my naked legs

Sunday's used to be long walk day for Dageus, often away along the Coast to Strathy Beach and exploring the Sea Caves there. We used to love it but we did learn a valuable lesson about tide watching there when I wasn't paying attention and the tide came in fast and deep that day. It was up to my hips by the time we got back and poor Dageus was way out of his depth, thank heavens I had his lead in my pocket or I would have lost him. Not my finest hour, and I got hell from Dunc. :busted:

These are the rocks we had to wade round to get to the caves, that are on the far side about 10 yards along, and they carry on for quite a long way. It was all Sandy Beach when we started and the Tide was way out. The water is always really rough along there and  know it was my own fault, we could have been in a lot of trouble if we'd left it any longer. One heck of a Wake Up Call for me.

No wild coastline here.  Looks amazing Raven.

Garden centre this am with a friend, lovely weather.  Bought some pansies, planted most in troughs, swept up, did some weeding, etc., etc.  I start a job, I want to finish it, but my energy levels seem to plummet after an ever decreasing time.  🥱  🥱
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Beautiful day.. I purchased some bathroom weighing scales today.. I have never had any before.. I didn't buy digital because I'm thick.. I still live in a stones and pound world..
Feet and inches..  When being weighed at the doctors I always ask ' What's that in stones please'..
The scales I bought are like the ones at the surgery..
Not digital.. no batteries.. I can't wait to use them..
Am I boring or what !!!!
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Mups

I'm like you Scrumps.   I am still feet and inches, and stones and pounds too,  and I always ask the nurse to convert my weight/height too.

I am English,  born and bred,  so I do not want flippin'  foreign measurements which mean very little to me.

Luckily, when I bought my last scales some times ago,  there is a little switch which allowed me convert to metric or English.
