Walked to local chemist.. I have been waiting ages for my prescription to be filled.. When I phone them they say that one of the items is on order.. It just goes on and on.. Different reasons every time I phone ..
It took them a long while to try and sort it...
Meanwhile I sat on a chair talking to different people ..What a tonic.. I was the fittest one in there.. and the oldest.. I walked back home .. 'minus prescription' feeling ten years younger..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I think it's different for women. They grow up.

I tend to use Tik Tok a lot, there was a post about how the Pyramids were built, some saying it was aliens because there was no way that people could move those huge blocks of stone given the technology available at the time. Currently I have over 1000 likes to my reply which basically said that, ' the pyramids were built about 10000 years ago, but gravity was invented until 1667 by Newton, therefore the huge blocks of stone some weighing 2.5 tons were a lot lighter and could be carried easily by one man '

The fact that over 1000 liked and agreed means that there is still hope for mankind or I am wrong. Unlikely I know but there you go...

Well I liked that explanation too.

Not a lot of people know this but The Flat Earth Society has thousands of members all around the globe.

Good start to the day, its raining, my lad's car broke down so he's taken mine to get to work, postman just been and I've got a £70 fine for moving into a bus lane about 30 feet before it ends  so I'll have to pay it.
On the bright side, I've got a bacon butty and a cuppa beside me.

Turned quite cold today, winds got a real nip to it. That's my fleece out of the wardrobe now, and I was glad of it earlier. 😬

Went to my oldies exercise class today,  and enjoyed it.
It's not just the exercises,  its  nice company too.

Then later this afternoon l  took my doggies over the fields before the rain started.
Unfortunately I am very aware I cannnot walk as far as I used to.   I used to go for miles through the countryside this time of year looking for Sloe's to make Sloe Gin, but sadly my poor old feet  and back won't allow it these days.

I used to love being out and hearing nothing but bird song. The dogs were so happy running free and rooting about in the hedgerows and nosing down rabbit holes,   it must be so much more fun for them than only ever walking around pavements and traffic.
