That's what I wondered, too.

I won't be having either of them this year.

I'll have the flu jab. I don't get adverse reactions to injections. IMO the risks outweigh the benefits with the covid one which still isn't properly approved sfaik plus I've had covid twice already.

That's how I feel too. Flu ✔️ Covid ❌

I got new replacement NHS hearing aids yesterday.  No hearing test, the waiting list is huge.  I've to try these and see how I get on, at least the volume is adjustable unlike my others.  I need to be more consistent wearing them to get the benefit. But sometimes I just like the peace and quiet without them. ☺️
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I gave up on wearing mine. They have those little plastic umbrellas and they irritate me after a while. Oddly I have no problem wearing cheap earbuds with bigger soft rubber ends and wear them for listening to audiobooks while out walking when its hot. When it's cold I wear headphones which double as ear muffs. I use a multitrack soundbar on the TV which helps a lot clarifying the speech on soundtracks.

My family tell me that I need to have a hearing test because I don't always hear what they are saying.. If only they knew the truth..
