No rain here and I was all set to do gardening today expecting the rain to have softened up the ground.
Not a drop but expected tonight fingers crossed .

Mups

They said on our local weather tonight, to expect thunder early tomorrow,  and then one month's rain  tomorrow!!

Went to Cleethorpes with some friends yesterday, amazingly good weather, lots of families on the beach.  Fish and chips are always nicest at the seaside.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Did you actually get peace to eat them? The bloody gulls here would have been all over you.
No pool this morning got the dentist in 45 minutes.......Shudder.

Thunder and lightning storm last night...another starting now, it's so dark that the solar lights in the garden are on

Very grey and dull here too,  and some much awaited rain.
Even got puddles in the road forming.
It's supposed to be thundery too,  but I haven't heard any yet.   I don't like storms.

My Ocado order should be here shortly,  and after I've packed that away I said I would accompany my friend to view another oldies living complex lunchtime.
She decided she doesn't want a property from the place we looked round a week or two back.

Alex

Raining here today, but still quite warm.  I'm off to visit an old friend this afo AND believe it or not -  I've got a face to face doctor's appointment at 5pm

Grotty grey old day. Only drizzling. Been at it ages for the grand total of 0.2mm since midnight. Forecast suggests even that will be stopping soon.

Just as an aside today is the first day properly authorised plug in solar kits are supposed to be available in the shops. Not exactly a blazing start. The authorised kits are crippled anyway as batteries are not included and they are the game changers as they can let you run most of your house on stored off peak power if you are on the right tariff. As it is the panels will produce their power (well they won't  produce much at all today) when most are out at work and taper off to bugger all when they come home. Amazon were supposed to be selling them but there are no approved kits for sale on there that I could see. Plenty of unapproved ones of course as they've had those for ages.

Check that doctor carefully Alex - make sure it's not a cardboard cut out with a paracetamol dispenser.

We went into a nice restaurant, bread and butter and a pot of tea included.  🫖
