It's amazing how quick you can get used to the heat. Well me anyway. It's 24°C as I sit watching TV and it feels a bit bit chilly...

Been wearing me thermal vest all day .

Morning all.
Cloudy and cool at the mo.

My Liffey is still itching and scratching,  inspite of all the bloody pills and lotions the vet prescribed!
I  keep bathing her tummy and thighs to try and cool the redness,  but don't know what else I can do for her.

It seems the portal to alternate dimensions in my house has reopened.

Today I am preparing to run a cable into the summer house (posh name for a shed). I went out tape measure in hand to check the size I'd need for a cable entry cover which I shall 3D print. Looked like it should be OK. Back indoors tape in hand, went upstairs to the printer and turned it on.

Loaded the model, amending will be quite tight decided to double check the size available. No tape measure.

Checked all possible places - not where it should be, not in pocket, not accidentally laid down either near the printer or near the laptop where I'll start the print. Nowhere else either. I think I'll buy a couple more. They seem very popular with the pan dimensional folk as I can't find my other one either.

There are still two big ones which I find awkward for small jobs. Maybe the portal is only big enough for the smaller ones.

To buy or to wait until they are returned.

TLDR;
I've lost my bloody tape measure.
Again.

The extra heat from the printer and computer opened a portal which your tape measure entered It happens with socks in tumble dryers, the extra heat opens a portal which transports just one sock Some scientists believe  that the heat generated by dryers could somehow create portals to other dimensions. These portals allow socks to move through time and space, appearing in unexpected locations or disappearing completely. Although this sounds like something out of science fiction, it connects with the broader concept of multiverse theories where multiple realities exist at the same time.
