Haven't seen him about for a few days.

I think he mentioned that he had carers coming in a few times a day. Maybe this heat is tiring him out, I know it's whacking me and I'm dozing a lot.

It's keeping me pretty inactive. Messes up nighttime sleep and that messes up the day.

My morning outing to the shop will be my only excursion today.

I did manage to get to the shop today.. We have more cloud cover.. Still very high temps..
I haven't been for a walk for a few days now..

I remembered I have an Amazon return so did go out. Post Office is 100yards away. No direct sun now. Still not pleasant out for me. I can't help but think it's because I'm older now.

The heat hasn't been as intense where Mike is. Family a few miles from his area say its been nice and sunny. 😎  Forecast around Perth is 18/19 degrees today.  Here in Yorks it's 27 ☀️

Hopefully he'll be back soon 🤞🏼

It's cooler here too thank heavens.
Even 19/20 degrees is too hot for me now. I used to sunbathe in  much higher temperatures but got sunstroke one year it was awful, 😢 Now the heat makes me light headed and I feel like I'm going to pass out, not everytime it's hot but mostly. It's the reason I won't go out to Aus to see one of my sisters, she's been asking me for a long time but I don't want to take the chance of getting sick.

thanks for the thoughts, folks. Heat just about knocked me out these couple of days - even with front and back doors wide open ie 30C inn the lounge despite a fan and a pifco tower full on.
Today should be better - about 19. Just spoken to Mary in Hereford and is already hot there

I've had enough now.  I usually take my friend shopping as she doesn't drive but I told her I couldn't go in this heat, but maybe about 6pm tonight when it's cooler.  Ha, just checked the forecast and it's going to be 31 ° at 6pm
