We've got even worse to come tomorrow and Monday apparently.

I suppose next thing we'll be hearing is a spate of fires from people being careless with Barbecue over this hot weekend.

My carer has just been. My goodness, they work long hours, 7am until 9pm
with, if they are lucky, with no holdups, perhaps 1½ hr lunch break. They
are worth their weight in gold.

Washing tissues is surely taking economising a bit too far . .

Michael,  wouldn't it be better to wear a long sleeve cardigan or jumper if your arms are cold?
Look after yourself, won't you.

A quick question if I may.
When  I google a business,  often a list comes up and at the end it says -  'Hide sponsored results.'

What are 'sponsored'  businesses please?

Paid for results to appear when business specified search terms are used.

Should have done, but the carers had showered me and assumed short sleeves would be OK. Simpler to slip on a fleece than change the shirt

I'm like you Michael, my arms often feel cold, so I seldom wear a short sleeved top.
In fact I own very few.

I had a dreadful night's sleep because of the heat last night,  I'm still tired now.
My Gertie was puffing and panting  half the night,  too.

It's supposed to be hotter than ever today too,  so I will try and get up in the loft and get a couple of fans down that I know are up there.

(If you don't hear from me again you know I fell off the loft ladders!)
