Yes. I missed last years. It only used to be the need to keep 200 in their current account and I'd moved all my savings elsewhere as their rates aren't good.

I think I saw that in a MSE newsletter so I checked and there is a regular saver that pays a decent rate and I set that up. I thought I'd missed this year's goodies till the email arrived.

GP appointment shortly,  then up to the Co-op.

Then this afternoon I have got a gardener coming to help me for a little while.  I've got a bit of heavy stuff to do and don't quite feel quite strong enough lately.

Just had an email saying Nationwide are sending us another £100 in June.
Has anyone else been notified yet?
What for ?

You need a current and savings account with them. There are some minimum amounts you need to maintain in them. It is still a mutual society and account holders are members which is sort of shareholders with this payout being the equivalent of an annual dividend. It counts as interest for tax purposes which means for most it is tax free.

A lovely day here today, 23 °C, windows open and enjoyable.
My dryer is telling me it's finished, so I'd better fold and put away.

Oddly Nationwide don't give anything to customers of either of those banks. Nor did I get anything for my Lloyds credit card nor my Chase or Trading212 accounts.

Or me.  My oldest grandkids have Nationwide accounts, and their savvy parents.  Son works for another bank, and DIL used to, but they move stuff around for the best deals. I've been with Lloyds for years, and can't be bothered to change the current account although I probably should.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖
