The boring thread.....

Good morning all.  Heavy rain showers threatening today apparently.

I finally tracked down my plumber who let me down yesterday.    He apologised profusely and asked if he could come today between 11 - 1.   
That means I will have to forego my exercise class,  but I want to get this tap done before the weekend.   He is also going to look at a rusty radiator while he's here.

Dripping taps and rusty rads -  is that a bit too exciting for the boring thread?

I have been to the shop.. Spent a couple of hours in the garden tidying up.. A Robin kept me company..
I haven't seen one for a while.. I am sure there were two..

My cleaners were here this morning, their chat and good humour make my day!

Plumber mended my dripping tap today.  
Going to come back and do the rusty radiator knob next week.

Lovely morning here then the showers started.  I've repotted a Hosta, hoping Vaseline will keep the slugs away.

Have you tried the copper tapes for pots, Alex?

I use these people's rigid copper rings round my dahlias, but they're in the ground though.
Always found them very good.

Yes I've got copper tape around the pots, just added Vaseline lower down the pot , I read it somewhere !
