I have been fiddling about in the garden most of the afternoon.
Pulled some weeds,  planted four pots,  did a bit of watering,  sliced round the edges of my lawn,
and finally sat in my little garden chair and sharpened my 2 pairs of clippers, 2 pairs of sacateurs and my lawn edging tool.
Don't really know if I have done a decent job or not until I next try them.   

Now sitting with a hot water bottle stuffed down the back of my trousers because my back aches!

I started the day full of good intentions and ended up doing nothing. It has been quite tiring.

I put off doing an outdoor job yesterday as it was a bit chilly. 
Today it's brass monkeys. 
I blame Keir Starmer.

Morning all. 
It's cold,  grey, and starting to drizzle here.

I've got a busy day coming up.
I have a delivery of several bags of compost, potting grit, and sand coming this morning first.
Followed by a B & Q delivery.
I am also expecting a couple of parcels by post. 

I hope all this goes according to plan and arrives this morning,  because I have an Audiology appt. at the hospital this afternoon.

Hooray !! The fence man has just been and measured for new fence and gate.. 
He will send quote later today.. I trust him.. I have dealt with him before..
 So cold here..
