Morning all.
It was a sunny but chilly start to the day,  but its getting cloudier by the minute now.
Might have to put my vest back on.

Alex

A bit chilly here too, but I've been in bed off and on since Sunday.  No idea what's wrong, but we plod on !
I do put off going to the doctor though, as I still haven't heard back about my echo cardiogram which was on March 10th !

You should get a check-up Alex..
You seem spend too much time in bed.. because of feeling unwell..
Unless it's the plonk wot is causing the problem..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

If you have the NHS app there may be some results logged but you'd likely need to put the results into an ai program to have a clue what they mean

Scrumpy

I think the NHS app is great..
It tells me when there is new information..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Is that the same as Patient Access,  Scrumps?
That's the one I use anyway.

My little Gertie has not quite been her usual naughty self over the last few days.
She has been weeing herself too,  so I took a sample and dropped it into the Vets yesterday.
I rang them this morning for the result,  and it appears she has got a small amount of blood in her wee, indicating an infection.
I went to collect a week's worth of antibiotics for her today,  then she's got to have another urine test when they are finished.  Poor Gertie.

Mups

Morning all.
Bright and sunny here,  so that's nice.

got a man coming today to give me a price on doing a bit of work in my bathroom.

Hey Klondie,  did you hear about KGH having to shut their cafe down recently because of Rats?
Someone saw FIVE of them running along the counter!!

klondike

I didn't see that story.

KGH was a one off for me - I asked GP about hearing aids and they referred me there. Got aids. Found out NGH use different ones and don't support the ones I was given so I got some more from NGH. I find them uncomfortable so don't wear them. May look at private ones some time.

Get well soon Gertie.. x

I passed your message on, Scrumps and she said thank you.
She also sent you a big wet X, then went back to bed.

I have to be careful with this one, because she tells little porkies.
If she so much as stubbed her toe, she would want her leg in a sling,  so sometimes it's not always easy to tell how she really is.
One example was when she was spayed a few years ago.    She convinced herself she couldn't walk.  She wouldn't even get up to eat,  or toilet.   So it was breakfast and dinner in bed every day,  and me carrying her down the garden for a wee,  then she waited to be carried back in again!
This went on for almost a week after surgery.
You might think I am mad,  but she just went on food refusal unless it was served in bed - and I even had to hold the bowl for her!!
She's the neediest little soul I have ever had, but I love her to bits.

Poor little thing.
Mungo has been not well either he had a fever and had to have anti inflamatories but he seems ok now poor old chap ,

Mups

Poor old Mungo.   Was his temperature very high, Muddy?
What do you think caused it?

muddy

Yes it was .
Poor baby had to have the indignity of the thermometer you know where
I don't know what caused it .
But he's seems to be fairly ok now ( I took him back for a check two days ago )
He's still overweight and I don't know how to get him to lose it.
He is slower than ever on his walks he has arthritis in his hips .
And he doesn't eat that much .
