The boring thread.....

Morning, Weather's fine this morning lots of sun. Jacuzzi's are great but,these days I only go in the pool temperature one as the hot ones up your heart rate and I was told before my heart surgery to stay out of them. I am over the surgery now and I must ask if I can use the hot ones again. To be honest it's only in the Winter I use them, I prefer the cooler ones over the warm weather, but it would be good to know if I can use them.
Had to go to Dunnet this morning after my swim for a message for Dunc, seems the Smithy's phone is out of action. As you can see the weather is good.

It's a bit too rich by itself Mups so I wouldn't use it for just sowing seeds, I use bog standard all purpose compost and leaf mould and horticultural sand, it has a bit of body and works for me. I must admit I don't do a lot of seed sowing  I  buy plugs and pot them on in a John Innes 3 and general purpose compost.

Went to another Physio  appt.  for this rotator cuff again this afternoon.  Nice girl,  very kind and helpful.

Then I called into my Vets as  I wanted to ask them something, and also booked Liffey in for a blood test while I was there.
On the way home I popped into Tesco for a few bits,  and got a couple of Apple Turnovers as a little treat for my friend and her husband.  Poor old gal has just come out of hospital after having a new hip.

Eventually got home,  dogs went mad as if I had left them for a week!   I had made them some Peanut Butter & Mollasses bikkies over the weekend  (special doggy peanut butter of course),  so they had one of them each  to calm them down.

Cooked a lovely Salmon fillet for my tea - and that was my day.

I went to my class in the pool last night, my daughter has stayed over so we had a nice glass of wine when I got home.  She's booked us into a spa today, so we're off to relax ln a little while, it includes lunch, all her treat. Can't complain 😉

Sun and showers here today.  I bought another bag of compost so I'll be pottering if rain holds off.  Making a chicken dish today "slow cooker sticky chicken" the photo looks nice

Why do people always call Ships  "She"?
They have no flippin' sex or gender,   so why do people do this?

Sometimes they give a gender to cars as well.
I have always thought it a bit weird.
