Our car clock is the same, it'll be right today!  Sounds like a nice day out for you Alex, good to do something different when you get the chance.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I never look at the car clock I have no idea how to change it..
And as for the bloody cooker clock... I've given up on it .. pain in the bum..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

Did you remember the clocks  ?
Awful start to the day here, raining, blowing and really cold.  Now the sun has come out.....

Really foul day. Gale force winds, heavy rain
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Cold, wet and windy here too,  especially this afternoon.

I trimmed my dog this afternoon,  then had some yummy roast beef for dinner tonight.
After that I finally caught up with my ironing.

Good morning all.
Contemplating whether to put some washing out or not.
Not much happening today except a visit to Audiology this afternoon.
Exciting stuff ey . .

We're still stuck with rain and those awful 50mph winds that are ripping everything to bits. I hate the wind even more than snow n ice, and believe me that's some strength of hate 😡
Can't really do anything inside or out, house is all caught up with and weather's awful and I'm fed up with it.

Looks like it was windier here than I thought...

Must have been a poorly old tree that hadn't been pruned for years, I would imagine.

Good morning all, on this dull miserable morning again.
Off into town for a few bits and bobs in a mo,  nothing exciting.

Probably - it's on council owned property though so and they seem to do some checking. Pretty huge lump to bust off - core must have been rotten and they ought to have spotted it. Maybe they only check the ones along the roadway that I was walking along when I saw it.

Not a good yesterday.

Had another of my dizzy turns,  but this time I was in the Opticians shop when it happened.
For over an hour I couldn't stand up, everything was spinning, and I felt sick as a pig.

The shop owners were brilliant,  and tried to keep me warm, and even got me a sick bucket.
After half hour they asked me if I wanted the Paramedics, so they phoned them.

Two lovely young men came.   Did lots of tests,  and eventually I was well enough for them to take me home.   I didn't want to go to hospital and sit there for hours.
They came indoors with me,  made a fuss of the dogs, and even offered to make me a cup of tea.
Lovely fellas.

The shop owner's husband knew I was on my own,  so even gave me his mobile number to ring him if I got worse again, and he would help me.   How exceptionally kind was that!

My son is on late shift this week (2-10pm),  so was able to come over this morning and take me over there to get my car back home.  I had been worried about leaving it in the market square car park all night long, but the paramedics wouldn't let me drive.

Much better today,  just very tired and worn out.

Poor Mups.. That must be a horrible feeling..
Luckily you were with kind people.. I am pleased that you are feeling a little better today.. x
