Branches down here in some parts, the wind is awful.  Didn't stop me going out though, coffee from M & S and chocolate from IKEA that's me set up for tomorrow.

We had some snow yesterday.. Seldom seen in these parts even in mid winter..
I had snow that settled .. Up the road in town (ten mins walk) they just had some sleet..
Cameras were flashing and images were sent.. 
  Today the sun is out and the skies are blue.. No bitter wind..

Good grief Scrumps - snow?    It was just a cold, strong wind, followed by rain here.
Bright and sunny this morning,  but still damn cold.

Just had a cuppa, and now I am waiting for my Ocado order to come.
Then its Optician's this afternoon.

Struggling to cope with all this excitement.

I'm still hoping for another chance to get then tanned. Postmen seem to wear shorts all years round.

What's a postman.. Is it the same as a policeman. ?

Scrumps,  there are quite a few differences between postmen and policemen.

1. You will see many more postmen then policemen.
2. They were different colour uniforms   (Postmen usually wear red).
3. Postmen are often more chatty.
4. They also often have bare, hairy legs and carry a big bag.
5. They come to our front doors alot,  leave a load of junk mail,  then disappear again.

Their main job is to ensure there is enough paper for the binmen men on recycling day. They need it to get the plastic burning properly in the incinerter.
