Waiting for a man to come and fit my new bathroom door lock this morning,  the other one broke a little while ago but only just got round to buying a new handle.

Nota good idea to lock yourself in a bathroom imo. I wouldn't even know if mine worked or not.

No, sorry I phrased that all wrong.   It's not a lock he's putting on,  its just a new handle because the old one has gone all floppy and when you open the door the handle doesn't spring back up again, its just flops about.  
 I went to Wickes the other day and bought a new handle,  but its not a lockable one.

There is a dog nearby who barks  every morning at around 6:45.
Just three barks.. I think he is telling the world that he is going to have a pee..
He is like an alarm clock.. I would miss hearing him..

I used to keep and breed a lot of birds once, and had about 5 or 6 cockerels of different breeds.  I could identify  who it was cock-a-doodling by their voice,  I knew them that well.   
However,  they were in a small field next to my garden, well away from houses,  but the neighbouring one is only about 15ft from my bedroom window,  and its like he's in the room with me!
Neighbour said the bird is going next weekend.
