I didn't bother looking out - I just guessed it would be. Super day for sunshine yesterday though even if a bit nippy.

It started raining during the night here,  and is still raining now.  It's forecast for most of this week again too.

I feel sorry for all the people flooded,  because even when it clears up,  I doubt they will be able to get any insurance again.

On the plus side - I can't see us getting a hose pipe ban this summer.

This flood line site can be worth taking a look at for your area:

Our local River Mole gets overwhelmed and floods the surrounding fields..
This happens most years.. We get some roads that have excess water from the fields..
As far as I know we do not have any great problems..
It must be horrible having water coming into your home..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I have got my exercise class shortly,  and then a hospital appointment at ENT this afternoon.
I don't hold out much hope of getting a diagnosis out of them about my one-sided deafness and dizzy spells,   I've seen them enough times already.   They even sent me someone else's scan results last week!  Nobody seems to care like they used to.

On a cheerier note,  the sun is out - for a while at least.

Going to take the car for a ride...

Morning all.   Bright and sunny,  but icy cold wind.
I just went out to feed the garden birds and my thermometer was still on freezing point.
Car all iced up too.

Just about to have a shower before I go off to a Physio appointment,  see if he can get this rotator cuff  (shoulder)  moving easier without hurting so much.
Tat-ar for now.

Another day of sunshine.. Might pop out in the garden later.. just to tidy up..
I shall certainly go for a walk..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

T'was a lovely sunny day here
An old friend has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, I didn't know much about it, apart from Stephen Hawkins had it.  It certainly is a dreadful illness.
Nigel's programme tonight on GB News is coming from Chagos, I think that's what  I heard !  :hmm:

What a busy day it was.
First I went to the Physio,  very nice bloke he was too.
A man who actually listens  to women is a novelty for a start.
He used this electric massager thing on my shoulder, and one thigh bone,  and it was really good.

Then I treated myself to a sausage sandwich with brown sauce for my lunch at Waitrose cafe.
When I got back home, I took the dogs down the park,  far too muddy over the fields.

I just got home in time to get out again to a GP appointment.

Later on,  I saw I had an email from the company still pursuing that bloke who hit my car - last September!
It is still dragging on,  and they are still saying I might need a solicitor!!
So I phoned them and had a right old moan and told them I don't need a solicitor as I have done nothing wrong and I am fed up with this dragging on with no resolution!

While I was in the mood,  I then phoned Virgin about my broadband still  playing upand I intended asking them for an engineer to come now.    However, they said they would send me a brand new router instead,  and it would arrive in a day or two.   I have to then send the old one back to them.

I thought tomorrow I would be free,  but a friend phoned me tonight, and  her car has conked out so could I take her to a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, so I will gladly do that as I know she is very poorly.

When I have done that I  also need to go to my Vet's to collect some tablets for Liffey.

And that's about it then!

*  Ooh,  no its not!   I forgot something else I did.
We are all aware of scam emails I am sure,  but today I had a bad one.
It was some foreign bloke with a gobble-de-gook email address,  trying to flog knives!!!
He said they were kitchen knives,  but it really felt bad somehow,  and potentially serious I thought.
Kids could received that  for all I know.

So I sent the whole thing to the government phishing site and let them deal with it.   I also rang the local cops and told them and gave them his email address too.

Busy old day it was.
