There was no rain forecast here for today when I looked. I could look outside now but I prefer to remain optimistic while doing today's word games.

No sign of last night's brief snowfall,  just a drab old grey day so far.

I have got my computer man coming this morning to fix something,  then I am going to try a new exercise class this afternoon.

Does anyone else use Virgin internet?
If so,  have you had any problems with upload speeds recently,  and 'freezing'  of  webites please?

I gave up on VM years ago. The way that cable works limits upload bandwidth. If you get somebody nearby running torrents (dodgy downloads) who doesn't really know how to it can clog up the upload and that also gives problems with download.

Sometimes when they add or reconnect a house on your cabinet they can mess up the voltage and their modems are prone to work badly if it is too far out.

They are also prone to over subscribing too.

Complain. They should come out. If it is a voltage problem that's an easy fix. If your local section is suffering congestion for any reason they can take an absolute age to sort it out.
