The boring thread.....

My grandfather did but not my father. Like me my father still had hair right up I til the day he died. Mines thinner on top but quite a way from bald there.

My grandfathers died when I was a toddler, so I don't know.  Don't remember my dad with a knotted hanky, but he still had a fair bit of hair when he died.  

OH still has hair, grey and thin on top now at 80.  A far cry from his long locks in the 70s.  He wears a cap if its sunny.

I never used to wear hats but now I often wear a baseball cap - keeps the sun out of my eyes and the rain off my head if I get caught out as I did yesterday.

I think a bald man is fine.. At my age I prefer a nice face and good sense of humour..
I sometimes wear a slouch beanie.. I love them..

I had a minor explosion in the microwave so I looked for my swab out the microwave sticker to remind me to do it in the morning and obviously couldn't find it. The others were looking a bit tatty so I had some new reminder pictures made for me and will be printing them out. I stick them on a kitchen cupboard to remind me of some tasks. It occurred to me that others may like to use the idea so here is the sheet which can be down;loaded and printed as required. The hair discussion suggested a couple to me that others may find useful.

  DON'T CUT THE FRINGE.

My bins are lined up behind front garden hedge..
They come on a Thursday.. and the bins to be collected are the ones one first in the line-up..
I just move them towards the entrance.. sorted.. When emptied they go behind the line up..

I do the same Scrumpy    it's black bins or coloured bins here, so after black bin day that one goes to the back of the queue

1st February already.    Roll on springtime, ey.   
I think I prefer spring to the heat of the summer,  especially when all the beautiful blossom trees come into flower.
