You wait till your upstairs windows sills are disappearing under deep snow,  then you will say to yourself - 'Blimey,  Mups said it would'.

Alexa says its 3 ° today, but it always feels colder somehow.
No plans for me today, but my grandson is coming after school and we're off to Mc Donalds

A late good morning again.   Been Doc's this morning for another steroid injection.

Just had some nice pork pie and a coffee for an early lunch,  then off to my Friday exercise class,  got to keep trying,  ey.

This may or not happen for all we know,  but perhaps best get prepared just incase ey.

You may not get it, the Scottish Weather Programme has been going on about it coming in from the East to cover Scotland. 9th/11th Feb. :yell:

Mary, my sister in law is ow off home after just over a fortnight with me, which was very much appreciated. Whenever someone leaves, even after jus a few days, it takes a while to get used to the echoing emptiness. At least now that I have carers in twice a day, even if if is only quarter of an hour at a time it does break things up a bit

I would have been lost without the carers coming in to my mum 4 times a day. I couldn't look after her myself nor could my daughter who was working full time. They are very under appreciated by quite a lot of people, and I believe they're only on minimum wage. For what they do it's not right IMO, if they stopped working, or went on strike there would be a right mess.

Very true.. I feel for them.. Every minute is needed by them to get all the work done..
They have little time to ask 'How are you today'? and await an answer..

How lovely, Scrumps.  I love those early little flowers after the drabness of winter.

Beautiful blue sky and dazzling sunshine after the overnight rain again.

Oops,  I spoke too soon,  its clouding over.

Found this old photo from the Dundee Swimming Pool, it was taken when the kids were young and we were there for a visit. This was the adult flume ride and muggins here was enjoying the slow ones, and then climbed up the long ladder to try this one........totally forgetting there was a 25 foot drop when you shot out the end. I remember the awful fright of falling helplessly through the air at top speed lol. Then landing in a very, very, deep pool, most undignified lol thank heavens there were no mobile phones in those days.

Wonder if it's still there.  The high diving board at one of my local pools was removed.

Not sure I've not been there for a long time. The pools were closed for a while to get an overhaul so all the flumes may have been altered or removed.
I always used to go to the swimming pools in Perth, when they got an overhaul they removed all the diving boards, wasn't any flumes that's why we all decided to go through to the Dundee pools that day.
Blooming Health n Safety, I suppose.

Dad diving off the top boards at the old Perth Pools.
