Phoned them yesterday.. They are coming today between 8-1..
I have a water mark on my living room ceiling... bathroom above..
It looks old.. I have only just noticed it.. I seldom look up and it only shows in a certain light.

Hmm,  don't sound good Scrumps.    Let's hope its nothing too expensive ey.
As you mentioned on another thread,  its the bloomin'  call-out charge that can put the price up alot too.

Alex

I've been for lunch, some Italian place.  Very nice, but I came home and had a slice of toast !

It's been a nice day which helps but I think it's also noticeably staying light longer now.

They were running behind so I am booked in for tomorrow morning.. So that is two bloody mornings I am indoors..
I don't think it is much to worry about Mups.. I think it is an old one.. It's only noticeable in a certain light..
Fortunately I have insurance cover for most things..
I would rather pay for cover than to worry about problems I know nothing about.. and cost an arm and leg to fix...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Oh how annoying!
What infuriates me is when they can't make it but don't let you know they are not coming.

I'm sat here waiting for the plumber.....

I'm sat here waiting for the plumber
For me this really is a bummer
I was going into town
I need to find a sleek ball gown
And perhaps a swimsuit for the summer

Sorry wrong thread

The plumber came 10 on the dot
The stain is old.. It will not rot
Cover it with special stain
No need to call me out again
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Glad that wasn't a mega bucks job Scrumps  :upvote:
Really cold wind here today, so I'm staying put.  Been to see to my grand-dogs as DIL had to go in to work, I let them out for a wee, gave them a few treats and they went back on the sofa.  Beagles aren't daft  .

Good afternoon all.    Grey and chilly again  - what a surprise.

I have been to Audiology at the hospital this morning.  Very nice girl,  gave me another hearing test,  replaced a couple of bits on my hearing aids,  and they gave me a load of spare batteries too.

My Ocado order has just arrived,  so best go pack that away next, before I nip into town.

Good Lord.   I have just read that a 520 mile blanket of snow is forecast to hit 53 counties in early February!

This may or not happen for all we know,  but perhaps best get prepared just incase ey.

It wasn't in the Express by any chance was it? They love publishing weather BS - click bait.
