How deprressing.

Raining here again too, then getting colder again over the weekend.

Off to the dental hygienist this morning, as they had to cancel my last appointment so they've fitted me in today instead.   Then  it'll be my exercise class this afternoon.

Is Dentist and Gym is too exciting for the boring thread?

Another horrible dark day here, howling wind and lashing rain . No walk again, getting really hacked off with this. The fields are flooded, river had burst it's banks and is all over the park. Some roads are closed and my (along with others) fuse is getting shorter. I feel like I've been trapped at home forever.  :boo:

The Park as it usually is, and as it is today.

Another grey day with rain not quite so bad as yesterday, but still bad enough

Good grief !  we've had rain here too, but nothing like that !

Blimey,   that's bad, Raven.

That's incredible.. We have little more then a few puddles..and they are mainly in the potholes..

Raven said it's the river burst its banks. The river here is in flood and has been for a while but they managed to sort the flooding in town some years back. Further downstream there will be fields flooded for sure and there is a monster flood relief reservoir that fills which they later slowly let out over time.

This is the bit that's all flooded in my photo. The river actually isn't very wide but there's nothing to stop it coming over. There's no flood barriers here that I know of. It's subject to heavy, intense rainfall and melting snow from the mountains which quickly overwhelms the river's capacity.

Yeah, No show without Punch lol. Dageus and I often walked up the riverside to the footbridge, crossed over and back down the far side. It took us around an hour, more if we got talking.

Handsome Dageus...x

I have just found the marmalade that dropped off my toast this morning..
Sitting nicely on my t-shirt...
Beautiful sunshine.

Yer mucky gal,  Scrumps.

Good afternoon all.   The first bright sunny day for ages,  but quite a bit colder.

I am supposed to be doing the big garden bird watch for the RSPB,  but hardly any are visiting today for some reason.   Maybe more people are putting food out today, so the little birds have more choice which cafe to visit.

My neighbour has one of these devices that measures rainfall. Apparently from Wednesday night to early this morning we had three inches of rain

That's going some. We are fairly dry here so I'm pretty much certain we've never had that much in a few days. Just occasionally half that if it really tips down. Been wet here this month but we only just managed that amount in the whole month -  77.01mm
