They look lovely Raven.  🌺 🌺

Very grey and damp here atm.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Another grey day here too,  after raining all night long.
Roll on summer.

Off to my exercise class this afternoon,  at least I try.

Yes please. I'm fed up moaning about the cold wet and dark. I want to moan about it being hot and muggy.

Sunshine and mild..
Put the neighbours bins back behind his gate.. Lovely couple both in their nineties..
The bins were nearly in the road..
That is my good deed for the day..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

It's my cleaner's day, lovely ladies. We had a good chinwag about ghosts.
It seems one not only believes but attracts them. She will tell me more

Just done two hours in the garden tidying up..
The winter frost did not kill any weeds..

This is exactly what I always say, Scrumps.

We nuture our flowers, fruit and veg,  feed, water, cover over in frosts, water in droughts, etc,   yet the bloody weeds do magnificently, all on their own,  in heat, wet, cold and anything else nature throws at them.

I am late today, as I slept on this morning.
Could not sleep last night,  still wide awake at 3 a.m,  so sat up and read my book,  as that usually sends me off,  but not last night it didn't.
My poor doggies had a rather late breakfast.

What do others do if they can't get to sleep?  Any useful remedies?

If I am on my own, with nobody to disturb, I play soothing music, often Gregorian chant. Otherwise I read

I get up, go to the computer and spend some time with my current jigsaw, while listening to my current audio book, along with a hot choccy.
If it's summer and warm nights I go and sit outside with a cool drink and listen to the ocean.
If it's a night I can't hear the ocean I get the wee cd player and an audio book. When I had the dogs I would sometimes go to the beach and walk but I'll not do that on my own.
None of it much good to you I'm afraid, but it works for me, 🙂
