Beginning to look very much like the bin men haven't. I suppose they might tomorrow but past 4 today is unlikely

I'm fed up. Recovered so well from my bionic knee, I've been walking every day, no sticks for ages!  The physio was well pleased on Tuesday, went to the pool for a class on Wednesday, then came down with a stinking cold yesterday.

Thinking of you.  😢

I think a rub down with well oiled Sgt. Major  might sort her out

Moving house always is,   let alone at our age.
Main thing is,  you've done it now  - and survived.
It will be lovely when the warmer weather comes.

What does Mrs. Vlad and  Fang think of their new home?

Moving is about the third most traumatic event one can experience

And the first two are the loss of a child or partner
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Good to see you back Vlad! I'll pass on the rub down ta, too much excitement isn't good at my age. 😉
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Good morning good people.
Thick frost this morning,  but the lovely bright sunshine will soon melt that.

I still feel like the move is temporary..we are still living out of boxes, the garage conversion is about two weeks behind schedule My good lady as you know has Alzheimer's so completely at a loss, different routines, nothing in its place is not helping, but is balanced by having grandchildren around.
Dog is confused by the sheer size of the garden, I have fitted him with a tracker. We are slowly getting on top of all the infrastructure problems, the electrics and wiring was dangerous and scary Blocked drains because of the previous occupants putting stuff down the loo has been resolved, fish pond has a leak so we are topping that up as and when. Bannister was illegal something  to do with gaps between rails so had to be replace Huge trees that need sorting either cutting down or pruning, and everything cost an arm and a leg, I am haemorrhaging money. So that's about it at the moment...I await the next disaster

Dear oh dear,   you have certainly got your hands full Vlad.

With her health problems,  I can understand Mrs. V  being confused with all the changes,  let's hope she settles soon.    I also think that's a good idea about putting the tracker on Fang.
Now what about yourself?
Would you feel safer if we put one on you, as well?

Seriously though, it sounds like you are coping well,  but if you do feel worn out,  I am sure some of us caring ladies could work out a rota to come and mop your brow and give you your pills.    x

Fingers crossed for you and yours, Vlad.

Worst part over now Vlad  :upvote:
We've had a really nice day here, sunshine and not as cold as earlier in the week.
