I agree about the menu....YUCK.
I like simple food not fancy muck that costs too much.
The Upper Deck at The Ferry Inn over in Scrabster that we often go to on a Saturday evening is a bit expensive but the food is good, plus a lovely view over the small harbour and out over the ocean to The Orkney Isles.

Orbits phoned me late afternoon and said my window squirter pump is old and getting worn out now.
He said it  needs a new one really.
They are going to fit the new one, and bring my car back to me in the morning.

Have a guess approximately  how much?

I went out for tea on Tuesday courtesy of the charity shop where I volunteer.  Local pub, scampi, chips and peas, and it was lovely. We had a quiz, and it made a nice change after being cooped up for a few weeks.  I saw the physio same day, she's happy, I'm walking without a stick most of the time, and I can go back to the pool next week!  Hopefully driving before Christmas too.

No idea Mups, £50?
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Pumps aren't all that expensive but labour is. I'd guess £65 but it depends on their hourly rate - I'd guess an hour + £15 for the pump.

Either you must be keen on washing your screen or the car must be old. I've never worn one out.

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That's a fast recovery GM, especially in this weather which doesn't exactly entice one to go for a pleasant short stroll!  Dashing to the wheelie bin while it's raining doesn't count!

My car window squirters are now wonderful.  They squirt so powerfully I could almost wash the roof too.
Made me realise how weak and piddly they had become.

Anyway, our Vlad was nearest at guessing the price.

It came to  £115 altogether.
The pump itself was only about £18,  and the rest was bloomin'  VAT and labour.

* Klondike,  the car is a 2014 model,  so 11 years old.*

I'm surprised it bust so quick then. Still it's fixed now.
