Does work to a degree at least. Tastes foul. Pongs.

How many bottles do you recommend?

Sounds about right - 32 then or maybe 42 - might last till you get a dentist.

Mups

A lousy day for me,  haven't felt well all day with awful headaches.
The dentist offered me an appointment this afternoon but I didn't feel well enough to drive, and had no one to take me.
So still got this awful toothache, in fact its worse, so  haven't been able to eat anything,  other than some soup tonight.
Going to dentist at 2 pm tomorrow.  Dreading it.

Also got to be back for GP phone call tomorrow,  then Audiology again on Wednesday.
A joyful week - not.

The trouble with a toothache is it's pretty much constant and really messes you up. Tomorrow with any luck it will be sorted although you may get antibiotics and have to go back in a week. Whatever it is it will bring you closer to getting rid of the toothache. Look forward to tomorrow rather that dread it. IME dentists just seem to get better and better over the years. Don't forget he wants you to go back and be a regular customer not put you off

Thing is Klondie,  I am terrified of him taking the tooth out.

I had one out a couple of years ago,  and that was the first tooth I have ever lost.  But the extraction hurt so much, I'm afraid I blubbed like a baby, and felt ashamed of myself afterwards.
So if this one has got to come out,  I wish they would just give me an anaesthetic so I don't know anything about it until its over, but they don't, do they.
I remember that other one hurting like hell for days afterwards too, so not a happy bunny tonight.

You were probably unlucky. I've had a tooth out and it wasn't a fun day out but I don't recall it with dread. Plus they always try to save teeth, Take it out and it's the end of that particular line for them. Leave it in and you may get more nice little earners from it

You must be braver than I am.

Oh well.  Tomorrow will tell  . . .

Or my mind has blanked it out
Or my memory isn't what it was.
Or it really wasn't so awful and even if yours does have to come out it may well not be as bad as you fear.

I've had lots of problems with my teeth from being quite young, and I'm a nervous patient.  The last two extractions have been under deep sedation, which I paid for.   But that means having someone with you.   But you have no knowledge of it afterwards.

I saw the surgeon yesterday, after last week's pre-op.  Looks like I'll be having a new knee before long. 😬
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Good luck with the knee. I hope when the time comes it all goes well as it has for the majority of people I know who've had that operation.

I'm hoping not to need one which is why I walked rather than jogged when I decided to lose weight via diet and exercise but I don't fear having it done. I had a bit of advice from someone I was talking to about it and he said if you want to speed it along be sure to say the pain is keeping you awake at nights. I never knew they hurt except when being used.

Blood test this morning. Replaces the one they cancelled because 3!! nurses were off with the lurgy.

They sent a text reminder yesterday and I had a bit of a panic as it was already just past the appointment time. Jumped in the car (I usually walk) and was halfway there when I realised it was today. They always send the texts exactly 24 hours before the appointment.

Mups... Stop being a woosie... They give you an injection to numb the area..
Come on girl don't let the side down.. Better to have a tooth out than a toothache..
I had a tooth out a couple of years ago.. The gap that was left felt so BIG.. but it all closed up..
I can still eat.. I don't look goofy when I smile..

GrannyMac... I hope you get knee replacement done soon.. I know of some who have had this operation and they are doing really well.. Good luck ..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ah there old good cop bad cop routine

It's official. The house one side of me is being converted into two flats as the notice of a planning application came through.

The one the other side is sold too. Not sure who to will have to ask the old neighbours who have moved out now as they inherited a posh place.

That may go for flats too i think as these are big houses but in a less than salubrious area and wouldn't imo at least make good family homes although there are schools within walking distance.
