Probably heading for some snow tonight.

Although there are no storms forecast for today,  it sure does feel like one is on the way.
Grey and very still, hardly a breath of wind, and very, very sticky.   Not nice at all.

I had a rotten night with the stickiness and heat again,  but at last it feels a little fresher and a nice breeze this morning.
I am off to my old dears exercise class this morning,  then will call into Tesco for a few bits.
How exciting is that, ey?

Be fresher tomorrow - back to the standard British summer in our neck of the woods.

I do hope it cools down soon, I don't want to moan but I'm getting pixxed off now 🥵

Raven

It's not a nice heat, it's making me feel sick n dizzy, I didn't even manage to go to the pool because of it. Phoned the surgery to get some nausea pills, hopefully they will sort me out. Collecting them shortly.

Alex

We've had a shower, it lasted about one minute unfortunately.

Got two new pairs of trainers at a Sketchers outlet yesterday.

One pair christened already

Something else from Quora.

I never realised that the shorelines  matched so well. Anyway...

Critical thinker and intellectual Kevin asks:
Why is New Zealand the furthest state of Australia? All the other Australian states are placed next to each other.

Just a note before we begin, Kevin. "Critical thinker" means being able to "think critically," not that you're "critical of thinking," so you might want to change that in your profile.
So, as all Australian school children are taught from day one, When Australia was created, New Zealand was just a few miles off shore. It had a reputation of where the posh git lived. When Britain decided to use Australia as a place to dump criminals, New Zealanders were not amused. So, every Thursday, everyone in the state would spend one hour paddling east.
The movement was so slow that nobody in Australia realized was was going on, until one day the State of New Zealand was 1,200 miles away and flying it's own flag!
That's why New Zealand calendars go "Wednesday... Paddleday... Friday."

Sorry Scrumps,  only just seen your question.

And the answer is -  I haven't a clue.    I am just going to pop down Asda,  I will get you some there.

Klondie,  I can smell those trainers from here!

Fortunately the culprits say baa baa and not woof woof. Annoying but not a health hazard and probably to be expected where I went.
